The Crockerton pub on Greyfriars Road will be closing down later this month.
It was announced on Friday, via their Facebook page, that one of Cardiff's most popular Wetherspoons would be shutting its doors.
It has long been a favourite of students and locals alike as being the spot to have one last drink before heading into the clubs that neighbour the venue.
Gemma, a third year Cardiff journalism student said that she was "gutted" by the news, as "on nights out before we headed into the club, we always went there for a quick Jaeger."
It will still be open for business for most of September but will be closing down on the 24th.
