Nobody panic, but the Magic Bus isn’t going to cost £1 anymore
Stagecoach are raising all of their prices
From the 2 April Stagecoach are increasing their bus fares. Yep, even the beloved £1 magic bus fare.
Here’s just some of the fares that are going up:
- Magic bus £1 fare – increased by 50p
- Young people aged 11 to 16 without an igo card – increased by 10p
- Concessionary half fares over £2 – increased by up to 10p
- Concessionary half fares up to £2 – increased by up to 5p
- Single adult fares over £2 – increased by 20p
- Single adult fares up to £2 – increased by 10p
- Service 50 Quays day – £3.50
- Service 50 Quays 7 day – £11.50
- Magic dayrider – £3.60
- Magicrider 7 day – £9.00
- Middleton dayrider- £3.50
- Middleton 7 day – £12.50
- Service 38 7 day – £12.00
- Stepping Hill 7 day – £6.00
In addition, if you don’t have a Smartcard, get one now, as they will be charged at 50p per card.
No word yet on if the unirider prices will be going up.
