People enjoy doing things late. Late Sunday lunch, waking up late, staying out late. We like to do things on our own schedule. Southern rail often does this too, in fact last month more of their services arrived late than on time – clearly we don’t afford the luxury to anyone else.
When you couple this with what feels like inane strike action and unreasonably high fares, the people they get angry.
