Loughborough rises 50 places in world rankings

In the Times Higher Education World Rankings, Loughborough fell in the best 301-350. 

This means we went up 50 places from last year and are on par with Goldsmiths, Essex and Kent. We continue to impress internationally and our spot means that we are maintaining a place on the world stage against 980 institutions from 79 different countries.

Lough did well to move up a whole bracket, as this year, many prestigious universities such as Edinburgh and King’s dropped down a couple of places and Durham took a big tumble, falling down the list by 26 places.

The rankings are based on whether the respected universities have maintained their teaching and research standards, as well as their approach on knowledge transfer and international outlook.
