450 people turned up to this Headingley mansion last night
There was a 20ft bouncy castle in the garden
Last night, Headingley was host to one of the biggest nights of the year.
North Grange Road didn’t know what hit it as 450 people descended on the mansion-house-turned-flats belonging to Miguel Russumo, Cameron Grimshaw and Kane Atkinson.
The trio, with help from Archie Henderson, Emma Thornton, Zak Avery, James Armour, Mari Warner and Chester Scott organised the entire guest-list and event through Yubl.
From 12:30am onwards, over 450 people queued through security to enter the party.

Each floor of the two-storey house had a main dance floor which was decked out with strobe lights, smoke machines and industrial speakers.
As well as the main dance area, ‘Room 2’, downstairs was home to a giant ball pit, ‘mattress land’ for winding down and a UV room with sofas and speakers.
As you walked up the spiral staircase, you entered ‘Room 1’, where DJs like TWOGOOD and PBR Streegang unleashed their latest tracks. The DJ line-up was extensive for both Room 1 and 2:
Room 1
12-3:30am: Croma
1:30-3:00am: PBR Streetgang
3-5am: TWOGOOD
5-7am: Glen Woosley
Room 2
11-1am: Mzungu
1-2am: Luke Finlayson
2-3am: Elliot Walker
3-5am: Jamie and Evan
5-7am: Up4

In the massive garden sat a 20ft high bouncy castle with in-built strobe lighting and bluetooth connection.
The music and bouncy castle weren’t the only highlights of the night, the hosts had even arranged for a magician to perform for the evening. The same magician who performed at Prince Harry’s 30th birthday party.
It took weeks for a team from Uni of and Beckett to organise and co-ordinate the party through Yubl, a new social media platform which let party guests vote on what they wanted to have at the night.
The app was even used to coordinate a guest-list of over 450 people.
What did people think of the party?
Alex Grayson and Lawrence McCalister, resident DJs
“It’s absolutely sick. I’ve been coming to house parties in Leeds for about eight years now and we had a bit of a dip. Last year was a bad year, now this is the party which is bringing it back up. You could say that this is the one which is saving Leeds’ house party scene.”
Holly, third year, Event Management
“One of my best friends organised it, I’m really proud of him. It’s going to go big, the ball pit and bouncy castle are sick.”
James, second year, Psychology
“I think this party is mad, the party is banging, the venue is banging, Yubl is banging as well.”
Josh, third year, Music Production
“Came through the entrance of the party, then I saw a bouncy castle and just went crazy.”
Elliot Holt, Mint Sessions
“Yubl is going down in folklore for reviving the Leeds house party scene.”
