Rape advocate Roosh V has now cancelled his UK meetups

Roosh V has cancelled this Saturday’s meet-ups as he “can no longer guarantee the safety or privacy of the men who want to attend”. They planned for London, Manchester, Leeds, Shrewsbury, Edinburgh and Glasgow – and only straight men were invited.

On February 6, the man who claimed that rape should be legalised on private property, was set to hold 165 gatherings for his “fellow tribesmen” in 45 different countries, saying women, gay men and transgender people were not welcome. He has since announced: “While I can’t stop men who want to continue meeting in private groups, there will be no official Return Of Kings meet-ups.”

Feminists have called to ban him from the country. More than 70,000 people signed a petition to prevent Roosh V from entering the UK as a result of his questionable views.

Although the event has been officially cancelled, meet-ups are still likely to go ahead. This message was posted before the official cancellation, saying that even if he called it off, it would probably still happen.
