Queen’s invests in new backpack vacuum cleaner for Elms
Bye Henry
Queen’s Accommodation has finally decided to lay Henry to rest after years of complaints from students.
The new vacuum cleaner available to borrow from the Treehouse doubles as a backpack for the ever trend conscious freshers and is a pleasant shade of neon green.

Le freak, c’est chic
In a Facebook post, Queen’s Accommodation provided vital instructions for students confused by the new technology.
In the post they added: “Never immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water. Never use to suck up water.”

The future is here, and it’s bright green
The once loved Henry Hoover was a constant battle for students struggling to carry the heffer across Elms and, in age, was ultimately useless at vacuuming the rooms.
The new backpack vacs are just another step Queen’s is taking to hurdle us into the slick, fashion forward future.

No more taking Henry for a walk
Becky Hughes, an Elms resident and English and Drama fresher, said: “That’s sick, it looks really useful and luminous.”
Another resident and first year Medic, Radhika Gulati added: “I think they’re so cool and fashionable, absolutely hilarious.”
