There’s going to be a whole book about Library Cat
It’s about time
Everyone’s favourite feline Library Cat is getting his own book.
This evening, Edinburgh-based independent publishing house Black and White Publishing announced that a book will be published based on the incredibly popular Facebook page ‘Library Cat’.

Writing on Facebook, Black and White Publishing said:
“We’re delighted to tell you that in Spring 2016 we will be publishing ‘Library Cat: The Observations of a Thinking Cat’.”
“It’s a story about Library Cat, about his favourite turquoise chair in the library and his favourite food (bacon-rind).”
“We’re delighted – and frankly a little star-struck – to be working with such a witty and iconic feline. We’ll bring you more news about this exciting new project very soon!”
Library Cat will be able to check his own book out the library
The Library Cat page writes musings from the perspective of the cat- whose real name is Jordan- on issues such as overdue library books and National Poetry Day.
The incredibly popular page has over 11000 likes and each post receives hundreds of likes and shares.
