Bristol graduate Susanna Reid is a pretty big deal: a BBC newsreader, a contender for this years Strictly Come Dancing crown and one of Zoo Weekly’s top ten ‘Britain’s sexiest mums’.
Now it’s been reported by The Sun that Prof Eric Herring and Susanna “scandalised” uni by having an affair while she was a student in Bristol.

A source at Bristol University seemed to have plenty to say about the controversial romance: “It was an open secret that something was going on between them,” they confided to the Daily Mail.
According to the source Susanna and the Professor lived together for nearly three years.
