Today saw the opening of a brand new fancy dress shop on Highfield Campus.
Situated above the SUSU Shop in the same room as Wessex Clothing, Wessex Fancy Dress aims to provide affordable fancy dress gear for students, ranging from accessories like geek glasses, hats and fake ‘taches right the way through to full-on costumes for as little as a tenner.
The new store is located above the SUSU Shop, next to Shine Cutz and the Uni Link office
Dan who runs the shop told us:
Everyone who works here has been a student and we know how annoying it is having to go all the way into town and spend loads on a costume or accessories just for one night out.
Run by ex-students, the shop stocks gear for the most common fancy dress themes
The shop also aims to liaise with societies across the University, getting to know their social calendars so they can order in stock appropriate to themes for upcoming socials.
The shop opened at 10am this morning.
