Local weather reports spent the weekend predicting a winter wonderland in Leeds.
Heavy gritting took place on Yorkshire roads and there were even talks of cancellations at Leeds-Bradford Airport.
Students got excited about a few days playing in the snow before teaching starts. The white stuff fell fast and hard, but alas, it didn’t last.
Hyde Park looked promising, but on a day like today during exam season it appeared as if nobody wanted to play outside.
It was business as usual at Leeds University with just a little grit being the only sign that it had 
snowed at all.
However there is still hope of a snow day tomorrow. Watch this space!
