Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie’s longtime supporter, has finally endorsed Hillary

Tulsi Gabbard, a well-known Bernie Sanders supporter, just made waves as she announced her endorsement of Hillary Clinton.

This comes just weeks after he backed Hillary Clinton as the official Democratic nominee.

Since then, many of Bernie’s delegates and supporters have been faced with the difficult choice of getting behind Hillary or considering another option – Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, or even Donald Trump.

Gabbard, one of Bernie’s longtime fans, announced her endorsement with the statement: “I’m proud to have been a part of Bernie Sanders’ historic campaign, and was honored to place his name in nomination at the Democratic National Convention.

“Now, given the remaining choices, I – like Bernie Sanders – will be casting my vote for Hillary Clinton.”

 

Until her announcement, Gabbard had said she was “not prepared” to endorse Hillary, as recently as last week’s Democratic Convention.

Gabbard has been the US Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district since 2013. Despite having concerns, she believes Hillary will “will continue to push for an end to counterproductive regime change wars and lead our country toward a path of peace”
