Ranked: The best value schools in America

Dw, you’re still gonna be in debt

Forbes Magazine has released its 2016 rankings for the best value schools in America.

Their comprehensive list names the top 300 schools where students can get the most bang for their buck.

Forbes used four criteria to measure each institution’s value for money. Drop out risk, average time to graduate, post-graduate earnings and value added were all compared to the gross tuition and fees.

Their study found that the majority of good value schools were West Coast, public and STEM focused, with UC Berkeley topping the table and three other UCs making it into the top 10.

The highest ranked Ivy League school on the list was Harvard at number nine, just one place ahead of UC Irvine.
