Cathays Station is now partially open following police investigation
You can now access Cathays Station via Senghenydd Road only
Following the police investigation into a stabbing behind Cathays Station, it is now confirmed that the train station has been partially re-opened to the public.
Transport for Wales have confirmed that "the train station may only be accessed/exited via Senghenydd Road and the platform's car park".
Additionally, services heading southbound towards Cardiff will be calling at Cathays train station.
However, Park Place and the lane alongside the station remain closed due to the ongoing police investigation.
Consequently, northbound services heading out of Cardiff will not stop at Cathays until further notice.
