Whilst it’s good news for some, some of you will share my heartbreak in accepting that we are well into autumn now. The days are getting darker, the leaves are falling and pumpkin spiced lattes can be seen in every cafe down the street. Autumn is a time for coziness and comfort. We all love to get those baggy matching joggers out and wear our hair up in a messy bun.

But this time of year is a posh girl’s PRIME. They go feral for autumn and always do the most. So, without further ado, here are all activities that you’ll defo be engaging in if you’re having a posh girl autumn.

1. Oat milk lattes 

Starting strong with the classic. The posh girls can’t go one DAY without their oat milk latte, let alone all of autumn.

2. Obsessed over skinny scarves

The skinny scarves that do absolutely nothing? The posh girls eat this up.

3. Uggs

Especially those ankle ones.

4. All Too Well by Taylor Swift

The 10 minute version is the posh girl’s anthems as they go on their autumnal nature walk.

5. Caught a cold

I know EVERYONE gets a cold at some point of their lives but for posh girls, its part of them. The posh raspy, croaky voice is a number one sign that they are a posh gal.

6. Matching co-ords

The posh girls LOVE their matching athleisure. Especially if it’s brown, a baggy turtleneck jumper and flare leggings.

7. Faux fur coat

Their mums have the real deal.

8. Trench coat

Once the weather gets colder, the posh girls turn into Sherlock Holmes.

9. Pumpkin spice EVERYTHING

Pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin spice flavours, pumpkin spiced candles, pumpkin spiced perfumes, pumpkin spice airfreshners.

10. Tried to make fingerless gloves fashionable

Again, the posh girls love clothes that doesn’t do anything for them. Of course they need fingerless gloves to show off their recent manicure.

11. Engaged in pheasant shooting

Yeah, I don’t know about this one but defo a posh activity…

12. National Trust walks

Which has been gifted by their grandparents is a lifetime membership.

13. Ralph Lauren knitwear

Bonus points if it’s the US flag navy jumper.

14. Dug out the North Face puffer

For the posh girls that pretend to not be posh…you’re not fooling anyone.

15. Those weird headbands

The weirder the headband, the posher the girl.

16. Caribbean holidays

Posh girls have to go on their bi-monthly holiday. How else are they meant to keep their tan?

17. Country retreats

They go down to their family’s holiday home in Devon or Cornwall and call themself a “country girl”.

18. Horse riding

Yes, they have their own horse, duh.

19. Pumpkin patch photoshoots

You already know they didn’t pick a single pumpkin and just went for Instagram pics.

20. Fireplace photos

Again, anything for the Insta grid x

21. Pricey Sunday roasts

Posh girls have never stepped foot in a Toby Carvery. Their Sunday roasts are in those independent pubs with candles, autumn reefs and wooden furniture.

22. Seasonal shopping

The posh girls instantly flock to the shops for their designer handbags and fancy boots for autumn.

23. Luxury homeware

You already know that the posh girls are filling their homes with new expensive bedding, blankets, rugs, lamps, candles, diffusers, fragrances and those autumnal ornaments. Their entire student flat is decked out in Neom.

24. Gone to a farm

Posh girl autumn is about embracing the country – but only at specific farms. I’m talking those ones that sells fancy foods, coffees and where you can hold a little pig.

25. Worn wellies

Tis the season for the posh girls to whip out their Hunter and Barbour boots.

26. Leg warmers

For the quirky posh girls. Bonus points if they’re from Urban Outfitters.

27. Jellycats

The posh girls are stocking up on new autumnal a Jellycats.

28. Expensive candles

Especially if they’re Jo Malone candles and if they’re pumpkin spiced or vanilla scented.

29. Seasonal baking

Suddenly the posh girls are whipping up cookies, brownies and cakes (this is the one time of year where they actually cook for themselves).

30. Got autumnal acrylics

They HAVE to get brown French tips in almond shape.

31. Turtlenecks

Suddenly the posh girls are the next Steve Jobs.

32. Knee high boots

Not going to lie, I love knee high boots. This is an elegant look for the posh girls (it will defo be paired with a trench coat too).

33. Luxury skincare

The colder the weather, the more skincare a posh girl has. They’re stocked up on CeraVe, face oils and La Mer moisturiser.

34. Bath bombs

It’s not posh girl autumn without bath bombs. But not just any normal bath bombs, but the ones from Lush and Dior. The posh girls love to relax in their autumnal vanilla and cinnamon scented bath.

35. Afternoon tea

Although this is a Spring activity, the posh girls go for afternoon tea at any time of the year.

36. Spa days

Their spa days would be part of the country retreat. They love to treat themselves x

37. Birkenstock clogs

In my opinion, these shoes are so ugly but the posh girls find them comfy and love them… Whatever floats your boat, I guess.
