Love Is Blind fiancée breaks down in tears as ANOTHER man caught texting his ex in secret

Love Is Blind is HERE to provide the drama this year – I’ve honestly never seen such a messy season, and it’s genuinely got me wondering if any of the couples will get married. However, the newest batch of Love Is Blind episodes released today sent me into actual despair when one of my favourite couples got into a huge argument over some very dodgy text messages from an ex girlfriend. Warning, spoilers ahead!

Taylor broke down crying at the 1920s themed party after an incident with Garrett and his ex-girlfriend. He originally told Taylor that she’d reached out to him in a message, and he hadn’t responded to it. She seemed fine about this, until it came out at the party that he’d told everyone else he did in fact reply.

He was sat around the table with Ashley, Tyler and Taylor herself, and explained how his “ex-girlfriend from six and a half years ago” messaged him, and he “responded.” He began to say “I said,” but then quickly redirected his sentence to say “I liked it, or whatever.” However, Taylor was obviously quick enough to catch on to his slip-up.

Tyler asked him if he said anything back, and he said definitively, “no, I just liked it.” This was when Taylor immediately stopped him and said, “Oh no, I’m sorry. You responded to her?”

Taylor became visibly upset and asked to see Garrett’s phone, but he shut it down and said “it’s over there, can I show it to you later?” Ashley and Tyler could tell how frustrated Taylor was getting at being lied to.

This then led to an argument between the two that ended with Taylor in tears at Garrett’s dishonesty. It seemed like previously off camera they’d had a conversation about the text, but Garrett had assured her he hadn’t responded to it. Instead, at the party, he revealed that he’d texted her back saying “hey, I didn’t tell you this, but I met someone. I’m engaged,” and that he didn’t think they should “continue sending messages.”

Taylor called him out on what he said, and he was desperately trying to explain how he hadn’t lied to her. Their tearful argument ended with Garrett apologising, but claiming that he didn’t think the “details” of the message were important. It was clear Taylor’s trust was broken after he’d lied about his ex girlfriend’s text, and with so many of the Love Is Blind couples splitting up or on the brink of demolish, it was really upsetting to see.
