So, it looks like Lana Del Rey just married alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene – the suspected boyfriend she denied she was even dating. Yesterday, it was reported by TMZ that Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene had picked up a marriage certificate – according to the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court. Not 24 hours after that story broke, the Daily Mail has published photos and a video of Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene getting married. It’s been a whirlwind, I’m exhausted, here’s the timeline.

After rumours spread that Lana Del Rey had started dating a 61 year old alligator tour guide called Jeremy Dufrene, everyone was perplexed. Lana posted pictures first with Jeremy Dufrene in 2019 after taking one of his bus tours in Louisiana, and saying the captain let her drive the boat. Dating rumours came out after the two had been spotted holding hands backstage at Reading and Leeds festival, but after the entire press and fans gossiped all week about the suspected relationship Lana Del Rey just confirmed that Jeremy Dufrene is not actually her boyfriend. In fact, she claimed they were not even dating at all.

After the shot of Lana Del Rey walking to stage hand in hand with Jeremy Dufrene, the two were also pictured having food in London which lead the press to say they were dating. Lana Del Rey has herself now debunked that Jeremy Dufrene is her boyfriend, commenting on an Instagram gossip page post that claims to be sharing new details about the relationship.

Lana denied it. Commenting on the post about the two of them, Lana Del Rey simply says “no.” She then also debunked another character on Twitter who was alleging that Jeremy Dufrene is her father and that the internet was how she was finding out her dad was dating Lana. Lana says “Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter.”

And yet, here we are. As per the pictures and story by the Daily Mail, Lana Del Rey married alligator guide Jeremy Dufrene on the same Louisiana bayou that he operates his tours in Des Allemandes. I thought maybe it might be for a music video or something, but you can literally see her getting walked down the aisle by her father Rob Grant. For god’s sake.

Lana’s brother and sister Chuck and Charlie were present, but it’s unknown if her mother was. The two have a strained relationship.
