Emily in Paris viewers notice Lily Collins’ strange on-screen habit: ‘I can’t unsee it’

How did I never see this?!

Emily in Paris season four has plenty of exciting plot twists and fun moments, but viewers have noticed a repeated habit that Lily Collins seems to continue throughout the series. It can be traced all the way back to season one, but somehow, it managed to escape the eye of most people.

As shown in the viral video above, Lily Collins can be seen blinking her two eyes separately. The caption read: “Did they run out time to film a good take??? Sorry to Lily Collins for this one.”

The mannerism seems to be all anyone can focus on when talking about the show online, but this isn’t the first time people have pointed out her quirk: It’s not only been noticed in earlier seasons of Emily in Paris but also across other films in her discography, including To The Bones.

Some TikTok users think they have cracked the reason behind the “American Girl Doll” eyes, as one user called them, claiming she has “dry eyes” and “sometimes the contact lenses stick.”

Some people were concerned it may be a sign of high stress, with one user writing: “Most main cast members work 14 to 16 hour days and set lighting can be really harsh. If she isn’t eating properly and getting rest, her signal for stress is likely tired eyes and sometimes twitching can control blinking because I have experienced this myself.”

However, Emily in Paris viewers seem to be very supportive of Lily’s habit, sending her messages of love like “I will always love Lily Collins,” which amassed 40,000 likes. Another said “I remember noticing this since Love, Rosie. Still, so cute.” A hilarious comment joked: “She’s keeping an eye out for Selener.”
