Love is dead, apparently. Not even a gorgeous number one smash hit single featuring the pair of them as lovers in the music video was enough to save Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan from the split rumours that currently engulf them. The two have been romantically involved since they were pictured out for dinner in December of last year, and since then have made numerous red carpet appearances and, as I mentioned, Sabrina had him in her music video for Please Please Please. The hard launch to end all hard launches. So what happened? Here’s everything going on with Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter as they hit split rumours in a major way.

Rumours first spread last weekend

In an anonymous leak to Deuxmoi, a tip off claimed that Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter had split. A week before thus, Sabrina had quashed any split rumours by saying Barry and her were still going strong and that he loved lyrics on her new album Short N Sweet – out on Friday. Barry was still liking her pictures on Instagram too.

Who broke up with who, allegedly?

The rumours centre around the tea that apparently Sabrina Carpenter split up with Barry Keoghan, with her being the one to call time on it.

The claims say that Sabrina Carpenter had grown tired of Barry’s partying. According to the Daily Mail, she was annoyed with him acting like “an idiot” when he was bladdered.

What was the status of their relationship?

When Rolling Stone asked Sabrina if she called Barry her boyfriend, she responded “How do I skirt around the question?” Yikes.
