Danica from Love Island is releasing her debut single and guys, she’s the British Tate McRae

Ever since the underrated Danica Taylor danced her way into the Love Island 2022 villa, I have kind of just been completely obsessed with her. On a season of icons like Ekin-Su and even Gemma Owen stealing the spotlight, there was something about Ar ‘Nica coming in late as a bombshell, dancing around the villa like she was fresh out of Pineapple Dance Studios and unfathomably being unable to bag a proper man in there that just made her so camp and iconic to me. Love her. Well, the dancing was not for nothing – Danica has revealed she’s got her debut single coming out on the 2nd June and the music video honestly looks beyond slay – a far cry from the Love Island days of yore.

We all knew she could dance the house down, but the fact she’s turning to music is an absolute gag – here’s all we know about Danica and her new music venture as she teases the build up to her single, music video and upcoming EP. Slay.

The first teaser she posted announces her upcoming WILDCARDS EP, a good name considering she was a bombshell Islander which is kind of like a wildcard in itself. The teaser is pretty big budget and has Danica slaying answering the phone, and then cuts to another shot of her killing it in a red wig. I’m perched.

She’s also shared some recording studio snaps and teased “hustle with your heart” – unsure if this is a lyric or just reflective of how hard she’s grafted to be getting some music out. Perhaps both.

The video is going to have a DANICA licensed car and it’s kinda giving Iggy Azalea Sally Walker vibes. For real I am actually so excited. I know I said she’s giving the British Tate McRae but look at this latest post and tell me she isn’t about to dance those heels off and give us a Tate level SHOW!
