The Chosen One is Netflix’s latest fantasy series based on the comic book series American Jesus. The series tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who discovers he has Jesus-like powers after a freak accident.

The series follows the boy as he navigates his new powers as he is thrusted into leading the world through conflict a thousand years in the making.

Bobby Luhnow – Jodie

Newcomer Bobby Luhnow stars as Jodie in the cast of The Chosen One on Netflix. Jodie is a 12-year-old boy from Santa Rosalía who discovers he has Jesus-like powers following a freak accident.

The Chosen One is Bobby’s first on-screen acting credit.

Dianna Agron – Sarah

Viewers will recognise Dianna Agron for her role as Quinn Fabray. Her other roles include The Family, I A Number Four and As They Made Us. Dianna plays the role of Sarah in The Chosen One, who is Jodie’s protective mother.

Lilith Amelie Siordia Mejia – Magda

The Chosen One is also Lilith Amelie Siordia Mejia’s first on-screen acting credit. Lilith stars as Magda, the only girl in Jodie’s group of close friends who has a big crush on Jodie.

Juanito Anguamea – Tuka

Juanito Anguamea plays Tuka, one of Jodie’s best friends. The Chosen One is Juanito’s first on-screen acting role.

Jorge Javier Arballo – Hipólito

Hipólito is played by Jorge Javier Arballo in The Chosen One, with the TV series being his first on-screen acting credit.

Alberto Pérez-Jácome – Wagner

Wagner is played by Alberto Pérez-Jácome in The Chosen One, with the series also being his first on-screen acting role.

Carlos Bardem – Padre Cruz

Carlos Bardem stars as Padre Cruz in the cast of The Chosen One on Netflix, a priest who becomes suspicious about Jodie’s new powers.

Carlos Bardem is best known for his roles in the Spanish series El Cid, Traicion and Tales of the Lockdown. He is the brother of the No Country for Old Men star, Javier Bardem.

Tenoch Huerta – Lemuel

Tenoch Huerta plays Lemuel, a special agent for an organisation who investigates Jodie’s powers. Viewers will likely recognise Tenoch for his role as Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. His other roles include Spectre and Narcos: Mexico.
