The Tutor is Netflix’s latest psychological thriller feature length film, with an all star cast including none other than Netflix royalty Noah Schnapp. The movie follows the titular character, a private tutor who is employed to teach the creepy son of a billionaire, played by Noah. Noah’s character quickly becomes obsessed with his tutor, stalking him, crossing boundaries and putting both their lives at risk.

The cast is also full of other famous faces that you will definitely recognise, so here are all the movies and TV shows you recognise the cast of Netflix’s The Tutor from.

Noah Schnapp

At this point Noah Schnapp is pure Netflix royalty, if not the crowned King. Netflix fans will of course recognise Noah from playing the much loved character of Will Byers in the cult favourite Stranger Things, where he quickly rose to fame at the age of 11. Aside from the current four seasons of Stranger Things and the upcoming fifth, Noah hasn’t appeared in many other things. The Tutor will be Noah’s first feature length film with Netflix where he plays one of the two lead roles called Jackson.

Garrett Hedlund

Garrett Hedlund plays the role of Ethan which is also the titular role, the tutor, hired to teach Jackson – the creepy son of a billionaire. Having been acting for more than 20 years, it’s more a question of where don’t you recognise Garrett from. Just a few of Garrett’s most popular films include Tron: Legacy and the movie adaption of the Jack Kerouac classic On The Road where he starred across from Kristen Stewart playing the troubled young writer Sal. However, true fans will remember Garrett for one thing, portraying the mysterious heartthrob of Murtagh in the YA movie Eragon.

Victoria Justice

Victoria Justice needs no introduction after spending her teenager years starring in a Nickelodeon literally named after her. In The Tutor, Victoria plays Annie, the pregnant partner of the tutor Ethan played by Garrett Hedlund. In her Nickelodeon days Victoria starred in Victorious, of course, and also played Lola Martinez in Zoey 101 for three years. Since leaving Nickelodeon, Victoria has continued acting, appearing in multiple films as well as TV shows, and already has a 17 year long career under her belt at only 30 years old. Just some of her work includes the TV series Eye Candy and feature lengths Fun Size and The First Time.

Jonny Weston

Jonny Weston plays Gavin, the cousin of Noah Schnapp’s character in The Tutor. It’s from an uneasy interaction with Gavin that puts the tutor on edge and makes him realise something might not quite be as it seems. You will recognise Jonny from having played Edgar in Insurgent and it’s sequel Allegiant but he has also appeared in Taken 3, We Are Your Friends, Project Almanac and Chasing Mavericks.
