They’re home! Here are the first Instagram posts from the Love Island 2023 cast

The Love Island 2023 cast are finally back on home soil, after a long and hard few weeks in the villa finding love. All of the Love Island 2023 finalists left the show loved up, and their first Instagram posts back are all soppy and heart-warming.

Yep, they’ve all got their phones back now – so expect a few cute couple pictures and an onslaught of brand deals and sponsored content to follow. So, before the latter gets started, let’s take a look at the former. He’s a rundown of our Love Island 2023 favs, and their first posts back on Instagram, now they’re back in the UK.

Sanam

Of course our Love Island 2023 winners Kai and Sanam have shared a cute photo of themselves on Instagram since being crowned winners. Sanam shared a picture taken in the golden hour of South African sunset on final night, with the caption: “The start of our love story 🤍

“I can’t thank you all enough for the love you have given us. It honestly means the world to me to see how much support we have received. The positive messages, the videos of our journey, the fan pages, I honestly feel so blessed and overwhelmed with positive emotions I can’t express it.

“Love Island has been a beautiful experience for me and I’m so proud of say I’ve left with someone I love, admire, look up to, connect with on a deeper level and absolutely value and appreciate everything he stands for. I’m so excited to continue our journey on the outside and can’t wait for us to become so much more🤍.”

So cute. Tasha from last year commented on it saying she loved them on the show, and Sanam replied: “I hope we meet one day so we can thank you for all the support you’ve given us.” My heart has MELTED.

Kai

Kai has been posting loads to his Instagram story, including him and Sanam out for breakfast together, on FaceTimes, and seeing friends and family. He shared the winners’ picture of him and Sanam to his grid, thanking everyone for their support.

The post was also a massive tribute to Sanam, who he called “humble, intelligent, caring, loving and so much more” and said he’s “honestly fallen head over heels for her.” He concluded the post with: “I LOVE YOU TOO SANAM❤️”.

I am WEEPING.

Shaq and Tanya

Shaq has also shared a post summing up how he’s feeling since the final. “I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am for the support, kind words and messages I’ve received,” he said. “This has definitely been one of the best experiences of my life. Never in a million years did I think any of this would happen let alone reach the final!

“But I’m truly grateful for everything. As one chapter closes another one opens and I can’t wait to start this new chapter with my beautiful girlfriend @talkswithtt_ ❤️ So from the bottom of my heart I just want to say thank you!”

Tom

Tom also opted to post his and Samie’s finalist picture from the Love Island final, announcing they’d finished in third place. “Back in the UK! Can’t thank everyone enough for their support throughout it all! Been the best experience of my life and I’m walking out with this absolute worldie,” he said.

“Love Island is hands down the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve learnt so much about myself and coming out a better man. I was unsure if I’d meet someone going into the villa but to fall in love is the best feeling in the world and to have that with Samie is unreal, she’s so genuine, stunning and down to earth and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us❤️

“To everyone that’s supported us through this crazy journey I just wanted to say thank you! All the nice comments and posts don’t go a miss at all and they mean a lot!”

On his story he’s been sharing loads of himself settling in back home. He’s been having pizza on the sofa with Samie, and took her to Macclesfield FC, the football club he plays for and is expected to be back on the pitch with this weekend. Cute!

Samie

Samie’s first post back was of her and Tom at the football together. The caption reads: “Such a good day seeing this one in his natural habitat🤍 Thank you to all the lads for welcoming me! I loved being part of the team for the day. Catch me in the stands for the foreseeable🙋🏽‍♀️.”

Ron and Lana

Ron and Lana have done a joint Instagram post, also sharing the picture of them at the Love Island final. They said: “We’re home!!! Eeeeekkkkk 🏡We’re completely overwhelmed by the love and support and just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who has supported us over the last few months.

“We’ve had the most amazing eight weeks of our lives and now we get to live life in the real world together ✨excited beyond belief and can’t wait to see what the future holds. Again, thank you everyone for literally everything, all the kind messages and support. We are reading as much as we can and getting back to as many as possible. ❤️🏝.”

On their Instagram stories, they’ve shared them cuddling up and watching movies, and out for lunch together in Essex, where Ron is from.

Will

They were just robbed from making it to the final, but Will and Jessie’s content since the villa has been too cute not to include. Of course, as soon as they got back to the UK, Will had Jessie working on his farm.

They shared a cute picture of then together, with a lamb, captioned: “To the villa, to London, to the FARM. What a crazy, wonderful and life lasting journey this has been. We made friends for life, met each other and more importantly have fallen in love ❤️ We are so happy that we got this opportunity as without it we may have never met 🫶🏼 We just want to thank all of you for the love and support we have gotten, we really couldn’t have done it without you. Love you all Will & Jessie 🥰❤️.”

Jessie

As well as the cute joint post she did with Will, Jessie has also shared a post captioned: “Coming home from Love Island vs the day I left to go on Love Island.” She and Will are in the back of a car and Jessie holding up her passport, and in the first pic it’s Jessie alone holding up her passport.

They’ve made a few Instagram posts already, since leaving Love Island 2023, and they’ve all been them together living their best lives. Too cute!
