TikTok now BeReal, post to view TikTok meaning

TikTok has officially launched its own version of BeReal, here’s how it works

‘It’s time to Now’

BeReal has truly taken the world by storm and now TikTok have released its own version called TikTok Now. There are a couple of differences between TikTok Now and BeReal, but here’s a complete rundown of how it works and what makes it stand out from BeReal.

What is TikTok Now and how is it like BeReal?

Similarly to BeReal, TikTok Now goes off at a random time every day and each user gets a notification to post a photo. However, instead of going off and getting two minutes to take a photo, TikTok Now gives you three minutes and the chance for you to take both videos and photos.

TikTok Now also uses the front and back camera at the same time. So when you press the button, you’ll take a selfie and a rear camera photo at the same time. You can’t see the photos other people are posting until you share your own and if you post it after the first three minutes it will be labelled as late.

What makes TikTok Now different from BeReal?

TikTok Now lets you post videos and photos instead of just photos like BeReal. Also the videos can be up to ten seconds long.

Here’s how to use TikTok Now

1. Open up your TikTok app

2. Click the lightning bolt icon at the bottom of the screen that’s labelled “Now”

Every day, you’ll get a notification telling you it is “Time to Now.” Once you get the notification, tap it or open the app and take your daily photo. Once you have opened the notification, a screen will appear showing your front and back cameras turned on and a timer at the top of the screen. Tap the capture button to take a picture, or tap and hold it to record a video. You can retake your photo or video as many times as you want during those three minutes.

Once you take your photo, you can choose who gets to see it: friends or everyone. If your account says you are under 18 then you can only post pictures for your friends on the app. Basically people you follow who follow you back.

After you post, you can scroll down the Now page to see all the photos your friends have posted and pictures other users have posted publicly. You can also comment on anyone’s post unless you are between the ages of 13 and 15, if that’s the case then you can only comment on your friends’ posts. There are also Now memories which work exactly the same way as BeReal ones.
