Wait, it turns out Nicolas already had a hugely successful music career before December 10?!
He literally represented his country in Eurovision
Erm, so it turns out Nicolas from Simon Cowell’s new boyband, December 10, already had a hugely successful music career before the show, and had appeared on TV twice before.
In 2022 when he was just 13, Nicolas starred on the third season the The Voice Kids in Portugal, and safe to say he really is talented as he made it all the way to the finals.

Nicolas didn’t quite manage to clinch the win however, and ended up coming in second place, but perhaps if he had won he’d never have got a place in Simon Cowell’s boyband, December 10.
However his success on the show opened the door for a lot of new opportunities, as he was then picked to represent Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, Armenia that same year.
He was picked for Eurovision as the winner of The Voice Kids was too old to compete and so Nicolas was picked instead, gaining 121 points for singing Anos 7.

He ended up coming in eighth place, with the Junior Eurovision Song Contest having a total of 16 countries in total.
And Nicolas once again impressed during his audition for boyband December 10, with Simon Cowell comparing him to a young George Michael.
Nicolas said during Simon Cowell: The Next Act: “When it comes to music I am very serious. It’s what I want to do, it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.
“Of course you have to have fun with it, but to a certain degree it has to be taken seriously too.”
