Honey Boo Boo rushed to hospital after being involved in horrific car accident
Her vehicle was 't-boned' by another driver who was speeding
Honey Boo Boo has been rushed to hospital after she was involved in a terrifying car accident over the weekend.
Her mother, June Thompson, revealed the devasting news on Instagram and explained that the Toddlers and Tiaras star had had her vehicle “t-boned” by another car.
She explained: “Somebody actually wasn’t paying attention and T-boned her on her road. They are always speeding on her road.”

Mama June revealed that the driver of the vehicle which crashed into Honey Boo Boo was a 23 year old man who admitted after the crash that he was going above the speed limit at 40mph.
She clarified that despite the dangerous accident, Honey Boo Boo “is fine” and that considering the speed of which she was hit that he injuries “could have been a lot worse.”
She said: “With that being said, Alana is fine. She was hit on the driver’s side of her car. It could have been a lot worse. She was [taken] to the hospital.
“She does have back pain, she is having some headache issues, but we are headed to Denver to be able to get her a rental car and to get her set.”
Mama June admitted that her “stomach dropped” when she was informed about the accident via phone call, and things were only worsened due to the pair living “23 hours away” from each other.

She continued: “Today is definitely been a crazy day since 3 o’clock. This is [why] I hate that Alana Thompson is 23 hours away, but she is following her dreams when you get that phone call and your stomach drops and all you can hear is someone hollering.
“She is resting. It could’ve been a lot worse than it was. She is banged up a little bit but other than that she is OK first car wreck.”
June gave an additional update on Honey Boo Boo over the weekend, confirming that her daughter was awake and that whilst she’s “sore” the pair were finally able to talk.
