Liver King was caught out in an $80k cosmetic surgery lie that Netflix left out of documentary
Is it even possible for him to avoid controversy at this point?!
Right, the new Netflix documentary about Brian Johnson aka Liver King, is genuinely one of the most insane shows I’ve watched, and trust me, I’ve watched a lot.
In case you have absolutely no idea who this Liver King is, he gained a huge amount of followers by showcasing his very extreme lifestyle online, mainly the wild ways he lives to maintain a healthy life.

These included things such as easting testicles, as you do, and claimed that by living in an “ancestral” manner was how he was able to achieve his physique, and when asked in interviews would deny ever using steroids.
Well, wouldn’t you guess it but it later emerged that Liver King was actually spending around $11k per month on performance enhancing drugs, after which he posted a public apology video admitting to the whole thing, all of which was covered in the Netflix documentary.
However, another public scandal that the Netflix documentary didn’t include was one where Liver King was seemingly caught out in yet another lie, this time about an alleged $80k cosmetic surgery, according to Surrey Live.

Brian Johnson claimed to have had ab implants during an appearance on the Full Send podcast, before quickly attempting to play it off insisting the “experimental procedure” he claimed to have had done was just a joke.
He wrote on his website: “Personally, I thought it was funny AF…. they actually believed me, which made it even funnier. You should’ve seen the sub primal look on their faces thinking ‘All have to do is get implants?’
“I sure as s**t never thought ‘the joke’ a.k.a the fake news would spread the way that it did. It has officially gotten out of hand… and I f*cking love it!”
He added: “Turns out millions of people believed me too, and started actually believing Liver King has ab implants. To this day, if you Google ‘Ab Implants’ I remain the poster child.”

In an attempt to “earn back” his followers trust, he even visited plastic surgeon Dr Daniel Barrett to verify whether or not his muscles were actually natural or not.
Seems like an lot of effort to go through if the whole thing was just a joke…
