  • While on her year abroad, Maria spent her first semester in Valencia, Spain studying and her second in Havana, Cuba studying and teaching English.
  • Maria rowed for 5 years at 2 different clubs. During her time rowing, she coached Learn to Row teams.
  • Maria loves travelling and is eager to travel South and Central America to explore its culture and beautiful landscapes.

Experience

Through a range of work experience and university assignments, Maria has built up confidence in her writing skills. She hopes that writing for The Tab will continue to grow her skill set.

Education

Maria studied Sociology, Spanish and Geography at A-Level. Following this, she now studies Liberal Arts with a Year Abroad at the University of Nottingham. She wrote her dissertation on the impact social media has on moral panics.
