Love Island’s Finley gets rinsed after seemingly cute post about Ellie starts beef with Jasmine

Love Island 2026 Islander Finley thought he was posting a couple of cute videos about Ellie, but now he’s accidentally started a bit of drama with fellow Islander, Jasmine. Yikes!

So, Finley has recently shared a couple of videos of himself getting flowers for Ellie. Sweet, right? Well it was, until Kavan also bought flowers for Jasmine, and they were (sorry) very much more impressive. Now, people are rinsing Finley for his romantic gesture. 

“Who said romance was dead,” Finley said in a video, showing himself posing on the street with the bouquet. Straight away, people were quick to comment that it was a “nice try”. They compared the flowers to some you could buy at a petrol station, and one added: “Should be triple the size Finley, but you’re on the right path”. He clearly sees the funny side of it all, as he liked the comment.

In a second video, Finley recorded himself taking the flowers to Ellie’s door, who found it all quite sweet. “Happy girl inbound,” he wrote on the post.

But, his attempts at romance really weren’t helped with Kav bought Jasmine a huge box of red roses, with a “J” on them. “Baby J flowers from my baby,” Jasmine said. Ellie was quick to comment: “Ahhhhh🥰”. Someone else shared that Kav was working hard in the real world. “Oh Kav did not play when he said he was a lover boy,” they said. 

People have then been quick to *assume* the girls might be comparing their gifts. One said: “Ellie commenting on this when she received those cheap a*s flowers from Finley, you can’t make this up.” Oop.

Guys, these are both very cute from the boys. Considering how much they messed up in the Love Island 2026 villa, we should really appreciate them *both* trying. Our girls Ellie and Jasmine deserve the world, after all!
