They’re still killing it
We’re used to seeing celebrities at red carpets and big press events, but maybe not so used to seeing them in more regular jobs. Some of the people who were all over our screens years ago are now working as everything from hairdressers to nurses. Here’s the list of celebs who went back to normal jobs after fame.

After playing the iconic Harper in Wizards of Waverly Place, Jennifer had a few random acting roles, mostley in DIsney projects. But after her diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes, she was inspired to start training to be a nurse. The now 32-year-old works full-time as a nurse in California, alongside hosing the Waverly Place podcast. Good for her!
Matthew McConaughey

Intersteller actor Mathew McConaughey has had a long, successful career. He’s spent the last few decades starring in huge Hollywood blockbusters and lTV shows. But his latest side quest has him going back to school. As of 2019, Matthew is a professor of practice at the University of Texas at Austin. He helped develop, and now co-teaches a film production class called Script to Screen. Takes learning from the experts to a whole other level.

But the industry is tough, and only the top Hollywood actors are able to survive off of just acting. Nikki got her cosmetology license in 2011 and works as a hairdresser and makeup artist in New York alongside her acting career.
