Helena or Shakira? Harry’s friend reveals who he *really* wants Love Islander to be with

Harry’s best friend has spoken out again after he went into the Love Island villa, and this time he’s revealed who he actually wants his pal to be with – Helena or Shakira.

It comes after the friend, who is also called Harry, spoke out about what he actually said to Helena in that awkward kitchen chat, and claimed lots was edited out of the conversation.

Someone on X then claimed, “It’s so obvious Harry’s mum and friend wanted him to be with Helena,” and he clapped back with an angry post insisting he does want his bestie to be with Shakira.

“This couldn’t be further from the truth and I said it to Helena’s face in this chat, she took it great and totally understood but I massively sympathised with her situation,” he said. “The only undeniable thing about it is she’s been treated badly and I told her that. As I did to Harry. His flip-flopping has caused all this.”

“Harry is very into Shakira and both Julia and I loved meeting her and came away incredibly happy seeing both of them much happier than they’ve been over the last week or so,” Harry Hugo added.

When he went into the villa, the pal pulled Helena aside in the kitchen and said she would have fit in with their friendship group perfectly, which had everyone suspecting he would prefer Harry to be with her.

Helena agreed, saying she’s just like “one of the lads”. However, Harry’s friend claimed this conversation was highly edited, and didn’t actually play out the way it seemed on TV.

“The clip that I said to Helena that it would have never worked romantically with her and Harry – they were just great mates on a holiday romance but their banter is the same,” he wrote on X.

“That’s why she’d fit into our wider friendship group (of 8 couples). It 100% wasn’t me telling her she’d be a better fit than Shakira. I said the opposite to her face. Both Julia and I called Harry out for his behaviour and him being inconsiderate of others’ feelings with his actions.”
