Ginny and Georgia season 4 is official, so here’s what the cast says is next for Georgia

She’s going to be very busy

Yup, Netflix has confirmed Ginny and Georgia will be back for season four. After we were all stunned by season three’s shock ending, here’s what the creator and cast of Ginny and Georgia have revealed is next for Georgia. It’s going to be an action-packed season.

There will be a big pregnancy storyline

Yup, you guessed directly. Georgia downed a jug of milk right at the end of season three, and that is supposed to show she’s pregnant. This will be a huge part of the plot of season four.

It sounds like it’s not set in stone yet whether the father of Georgia’s baby will be Paul or Joe. The show’s creator, Sarah Lampert, told Deadline:  “Here’s what I’ll say about that. I know whose baby she’s carrying.

“But I went into the writer’s room this season and I said, ‘Here’s who the daddy is.’ Changed my mind. So it’s live wire in there. I’m telling you right now, I am open to being convinced otherwise.”

It sounds like the identity of the baby’s father will be a big issue in season four.

Season four of Ginny and Georgia will delve into the family’s origin story

Sarah Lampert told Tudum the theme of season four will be “cycles and origins”. Georgia’s abusive mum and stepdad will feature.

Georgia will finally go to therapy

Honestly, it’s about time. Brianne Howey (who stars as Georgia) says the events of season three really push Georgia to make some big changes to her life in season four. Discovering that Austin and Ginny meddled in the trial will push her to reevaluate, like, all her life choices. Brianne Howey said to Tudum: “Once Georgia realizes how her kids manipulated this situation, it’s quite sobering. It’s also the final straw that leads Georgia to finally want to go to therapy, to finally break the cycle. She’s now seeing in very real terms what her actions have done to her children, because now her children are re-creating her actions.”

Georgia will really go out of her comfort zone in the next season. “There is a glimmer of hope at the end of season three. It starts small, but it’s starting, so I think it’s possible,” Brianne Howey said.

The last few episodes of season three were supposed to break Georgia, ready for her to turn her life around in season four. Sarah Lampert told Deadline: “Season three was about getting her to a place of being able to build her back differently in season four.”
