Four drama-filled moments that were cut from MAFS Australia 2025, according to Beth
We missed Jamie telling off Teejay?!
MAFS Australia 2025 was stuffed to the brim with drama. Inevitably, there were some huge moments that didn’t make it into the show. The MAFS bride Beth reveals four dramatic scenes that she was surprised didn’t make the final edit of MAFS Australia. I desperately need a director’s cut of this season now. Some of these scenes would have changed so much.
Two huge arguments with other cast members were cut
Beth does believe everything shown on TV was captured really well, but there were a few moments which didn’t make the final cut. She told The Tab: “I don’t think anything was really twisted or manipulated. But there was just a lot of footage they just didn’t use. My fiery side, they just cut out of the show.”
Beth had two big rows with other cast members at dinner parties that weren’t shown on TV. “My second dinner party, I walked into the cocktail party. And I kind of went for Jacqui and Ryan. I was like, ‘Your relationship’s a f*cking s*tshow.’ I just went off at them. But [the producers] cut the whole thing out.
“And then that same night, [the producers] sat me and Adrian opposite each other at the dinner table. And he was being so disrespectful to Awhina. So I reached across the table, and I was like, ‘Shut the f*ck up.’ It was wild. It was so crazy.”

Beth feels that some of Teejay’s behaviour was gaslighting. In the final commitment ceremony, he wrote “leave” and she wrote “stay”. She believes that some of Teejay’s actions in this era contradicted what he was telling her.
She said: “During our final date, I said to him, ‘Look, you’re obviously checked out. Because you wrote ‘leave’, so you’re clearly not in this anymore.’
“And he said, ‘Beth, how do you know I’m not in this? How do you know I’m checked out?’
“And I was sat there, like, ‘You wrote ‘leave’! That’s a pretty bold statement!'”
After this conversation, a camera operator told Beth he found the interaction hard to watch, and he explained what gaslighting is.
Beth said: “That whole situation completely messed with my head. There was just a lot of him confusing me, saying one thing, doing the other, and then he’d have a way of flipping it and making me feel like I was crazy.”
She and Teejay have cleared the air since leaving the show, and are now on “amicable” terms.
We didn’t get to see a big moment at a dinner party

I would gladly watch the full, unedited footage of that final dinner party. Apparently Jamie and the other girls confronted Teejay about his behaviour. But there were already enough storylines in this episode.
“At my last dinner party,” Beth explained, “Teejay was gaslighting me. Jamie was like, ‘Teejay, I’ve known you for so long, but I can’t condone this behaviour. Like, you’re being an a**hole.’ I got up and stormed out. Huge scene. All the girls followed me out. The producers were like, ‘Beth, I’m so proud of you for standing your ground.’ But the whole thing got cut.
“It’s like every big moment I had was just wiped from the show. It was really weird to watch back, because I know that [the producers] chose me because they liked that fiery side. They liked that it was British.”
