Morena drops all the juicy details about Tony’s ‘secret marriage’ during MAFS Australia

He was already married when he tied the knot with Morena

After leaving the experiment, MAFS Australia’s Morena has dropped all the gossip about Tony’s ‘secret marriage’.

The 53-year-old was still married to his estranged wife when he tied the knot on the show, and he announced the revelation to Morena on their honeymoon.

However, his relationship was covered up by the producers and never revealed on TV, so we never really knew all the details.

Speaking on Abbie Chatfield’s It’s a Lot podcast, Morena explained: “He’s very much married and Abbie, that’s okay. I’m not upset that he’s married. I’m not upset that he loves his wife.”

“I’m not upset that he had this idea that, hey, let’s bring my wife in. It’s going to make great TV. I’ll tell you, look at your face.”

“What? Let’s bring my wife in, Abbie. Honey, it’s just too good to make up. Why would I? I believe in karma. I would never do that,” she continued.

An insider told Daily Mail Australia that Tony asked the MAFS experts to bring his estranged wife on the show and help reignite their relationship.

Morena went on to reveal that his wife lives in America and there are visa issues, which is why they can’t be together.

“He can’t get to her, so let’s bring her to him. So they live in America. I don’t know what he did. His wife and him. Tony and his wife and adopted daughter. He did something with his visa and he lost it. I don’t care what he did. I’m not here to say what he did. It’s not important,” she said.

“The important part of this story is he can’t go back to America. He’s been separated apparently for two years,” the 47-year-old continued before saying: “He’s not separated.”

“He adores her. And when he’d tell me daily, I could see it in his eyes.”

Morena then slammed production for telling her to “stop talking” about his secret marriage. Multiple insiders told Daily Mail Australia the producers were “desperate” to keep a lid on the scandal.

“From the first dinner party, they told her to stop talking about it. They kept saying it wouldn’t air, that it wasn’t a big deal,” the source said. “But Morena refused to be silenced. She was furious that they were trying to control the narrative.”

However, Morena wasn’t angry at Tony, and she actually hopes that she will find a love like they have one day.

“Tony felt really guilty. He really, really did. It’s not his fault that he loves her. Do you know what I said at the commitment ceremony? I think it’s amazing that somebody loves somebody the way you’re talking,” she added.

“I wish somebody would have that for me. So I’m not angry at him that he’s married. I’m not angry that he had this idea.”
