Er, Adrian has been accused of texting a former MAFS Australia bride during the show

Adrian Araouzou has been accused of texting a MAFS Australia 2023 icon while filming the show, and I don’t know what to make of this information.

According to Awhina Rutene’s twin sister Cleo, Adrian was messaging the MAFS Australia 2023 bride Bronte Schofield “the entire time” he was filming the show.

Bronte was matched on Season 10 of MAFS Australia with Harrison Boon. Their relationship was, erm, rather memorable.

A MAFS gossip Instagram account posted a few photos of Harrison and Bronte hanging out at the Cottesloe Beach Club in Perth. The caption reads: “Adrian has been snapped getting cosy with former bride Bronte Schofield after he was called out for liking her sizzling bikini snaps on Instagram.”

Cleo Rutene commented underneath: “Having done this experience yourself and knowing how emotional this experiment was to then text another bride’s husband the entire time.. 👏”

Awhina has previously said Adrian was texting past MAFS Australia contestants while they were on the show together, but she didn’t specify who. She told Chattr: “He was speaking to ex-participants, his vision board had [social media] followers on it. Adrian 100 per cent was [on MAFS] to get famous.”

Bronte and Adrian have responded very differently to rumours that something is going on between them. On 28th March, a fan asked Bronte on Instagram, “Are you dating Adrian?” Bronte denied this, and clapped back: “Yes, we are madly in love and planning our June wedding. No, you moron.”

Bronte also told Chattr: “I’m not dating Adrian. I was at the Cott [the beach club] and they were all there. [This is] so ridiculous.”

Three other MAFS Australia 2025 grooms – Eliot Donovan, Paul Antoine and Tony Majanovski – were also at the beach club.

Meanwhile, Adrian has not denied dating Bronte. When the Daily Mail asked Adrian about liking Bronte’s pictures on Instagram, he said: “She’s hot. She’s more my type, so of course I’m going to like her photos.”

It’s been reported that Adrian was liking Bronte’s Instagram pictures while he was on the show. Apparently the MAFS producers noticed this and told him off for it. A source close to production said: “It was a total betrayal of the experiment. Adrian wasn’t here for the right reasons.”

An inside source also told the Daily Mail that someone caught Adrian messaging Bronte late at night. He allegedly revealed this to the other MAFS contestants off-camera, and it led to an argument.

Another source told Chattr that Bronte and Adrian spoke before Adrian went on the show. The source didn’t know whether Bronte and Adrian were still talking while Adrian was filming MAFS. They said: “He also liked her photos during the experiment and caught up with her straight after.”

Bronte and Adrian have been contacted for comment.
