Inside Grace and Luca’s romantic holiday after All Stars where they went official

After spending weeks together in a South African villa, you’d think Grace Jackson and Luca Bish might want some time alone, and out of the sun. Apparently not. Less than a month after the Love Island: All Stars 2025 final, Grace and Luca jetted off on holiday again. Here’s a look at what they got up to, including that extremely extra will-you-be-my-girlfriend proposal.

Grace and Luca went to Abu Dhabi

Erm, their romantic getaway was sponsored by Visit Abu Dhabi. Luca actually went on another paid to Abu Dhabi in November 2024. It’s safe to say he’s familiar with all the photo spots.

Luca seemed excited to be returning. He wrote on Instagram: “Wouldn’t want our first holiday to be anywhere else.”

The holiday was stuffed full of activities (and photo opportunities)

Grace and Luca went on a private tour in an SUV around the “African Safari” area of Al Ain Zoo. They took selfies with the giraffes, who did not look impressed. Grace wrote on her Instagram that their outing was “honestly the best day ever”.

I’m going to hope the giraffe doesn’t mind appearing on Luca’s InstagramGrace and Luca also hung out at a beach club and went on a windy-looking boat trip. The couple had dinner at a Michellin-star restaurant called Hakkasan Abu Dhabi. The steak there costs a truly eye-watering 988 AED (£207).

Now, when most couples become official, they text their group chat (if they even bother to make an announcement at all). Ex-Love Islanders seem to feel the need to stage a melodramatic proposal featuring beaches, candles, artificial-looking flowers, giant personalised signs, and romantic dinners. It’s giving Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s engagement, but on a lower budget. The girlfriend proposal formed the grand finale of Grace and Luca’s first (and hopefully not last?) holiday together.

In Luca’s caption on Instagram, he did not actually mention his lovely new girlfriend. Instead, he thanked the beach club and made sure to tag Visit Abu Dhabi.
