Katie speaks out after heated MAFS dinner party and she’s STILL being too nice about Tim

Katie has spoken out after things got heated at the first MAFS dinner party and revealed how she really felt about everything that went down.

Things kicked off after Jamie called out Tim’s behaviour towards his wife and told him to stop deflecting everyone’s questions.

Speaking to 9Entertainment, the 37-year-old has revealed how confused she was on the day, and she’s still being unnecessarily nice about him.

“After the honeymoon, I could feel the tables starting to turn. I needed to protect my space,” she said.

“I was quite nervous to see [Tim] because I could sense the momentum that was picking up. I was nervous to see how [the situation] was going to get worse because I knew it was not getting better.”

Katie said she was really thankful for Jamie’s support, but the fact that none of the other girls were calling out his behavior made her really confused.

“Although Jamie was not letting him off the hook, the other girls had different responses and that was the perfect symbology of my confusion,” she continued.

“A big chunk of me was like, ‘No, this is not OK.’ The other part of me was like, be kind, be understanding. I’m just really glad I had the support of particularly Jamie to help me navigate through that.”

Even after everyone was calling out Tim’s actions, she was still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and see his good side.

In her head, Katie was thinking all she wanted to do was get to the Commitment Ceremony with her “head held high,” so that’s what she was focused on.

“I could sense something was up but to see the truth come out after he snuck off, it reminded me to trust my intuition for sure,” she added.

“It was tough to hear such a harsh judgement so early on, based on something that is of no real importance long term.”

The bride also said she felt “very supported by everyone” at the dinner party, revealing: “I feel the love, I can see it all happening and also very validating.”
