Doechii, Jorja Smith and The Last Dinner Party among confirmed acts for Bristol’s FORWARDS
Denial is a river, but Bristol is keeping it real
Following teasers across Bristol, FORWARDS festival has unveiled its 2025 lineup. Doechii, Jorja Smith, Ezra Collective and The Last Dinner Party will be heading to Bristol this August.
FORWARDS festival is set to take place on Saturday, 23rd and Sunday, 24th August 2025, taking over the bank holiday weekend.
Saturday headliners include British jazz icons Ezra Collective and electronic Producer Barry Can’t Swim. Sunday has all-female co-headliners: 2025 Grammy winner Doechii and globally acclaimed artist Jorja Smith.
The Last Dinner Party, a 2024 breakout band, will be joining Doechii and Jorja on Sunday.
FORWARDS will be Doechii’s Bristol debut, bringing DENIAL to the river Avon this summer. Doechii will be joined by Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective, who are returning after their 2023 performance.
Last summer, the Tab spoke with Nubaya Garcia, who had members of Ezra Collective cheering her on from the sidelines.
FORWARDS 2025 promises to bring an international, genre-spanning music to the Downs this summer, along with forward thinking talks on the information stage.
