Ok, here’s what is actually going on with that weird looking bruise on Donald Trump’s hand

Donald Trump met French president Emmanuel Macron this week – but the thing that got everyone talking was not the political meeting of minds from two nations, but more the bizarre and massive bruise on President Trump’s hand. The bruise fills the entire top of his hand and has been apparently covered with makeup, and people were drawing comparisons to the bruises on Queen Elizabeth II’s hand when she was pictured just before she died. With speculation rife on what the bruise on Donald’s hand could be from, The White House has now put out a response trying to clear up the chat about President Trump.

I am, however, unsure it’s helped.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement regarding the Donald Trump bruise ”

“President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other president in history. His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day.”

 “President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s constantly working and shaking hands all day every day.” This has been met with much ridicule.

In an interview with Inside Edition, dermatologist Doris Day says it couldn’t be from a handshake. “This wouldn’t be from that. This is a sharp, hard hit. And this looks like it’s about five to seven days old. It doesn’t look like it’s from an IV, because I don’t see any point of entry where a needle would go in. It looks more like he’s just whacked it really hard on something. Walking through a door, he probably clonked into something.”

Right… The plot thickens. Someone said on Twitter “who’s he shaking hands with? Thor?” and I can’t stop thinking about it.
