Wait, people think they’ve found a clip of young Linda from The Traitors in her opera days!?
The evidence is convincing
Not many on this year’s cast of The Traitors for 2025 have made quite the impression on the internet as ar Linda, the iconic retired opera singer who got chosen to be a Traitor. Now, being honest, Linda isn’t the best at being a Traitor so far – but she is the best at giving us hilariously dramatic reactions with some acting that would make Hollyoaks beam with pride. From “Oh my god, who the HELL is going to come back” to the iconic turn of the head on literally episode one when Claudia said “Traitors” – it’s been comedy gold from Linda so far. And now, to make things even more legendary, people over on TikTok think they’ve found Linda back in the day performing as an opera singer way before The Traitors – and there’s solid evidence that’s made me a believer.
As Linda Rands declared on the show, prior to her new venture as a Traitor she was previously a retired opera singer. And now, one account on TikTok has posted a clip of what honestly looks like it actually could be Linda back in 1982.
@alice_wt #thetraitors is this our queeen????? Big big thank you to the ultimate hero who found this @rachel ★彡 ♬ original sound – Alice
In the video captioned “is this our queen”, the footage is from a filmed version of the opera Rigoletto in London captured in 1982. It’s a small role, but the signs are adding up and guys – I think it’s actually her thanks to two pieces of evidence I’ve found after watching the clip.
Most Read
The first is that on the official Rigoletto soundtrack, Linda Rands is credited as a vocalist – as per information found on Discogs.com.
The second is that if you fancy watching the full two hours of Rigoletto, the 1982 production is available in full on YouTube. In the credits of the video, the cast are listed and it says Linda Rands played a character called ‘Un paggio’ – translated to pageboy.
The Tab has reached out to Linda Rands from The Traitors to confirm if this is actually her, but it seems it truly is her in her opera PRIME. Diva.
