Omg, Maya Jama is dating a Premier League footballer that a Love Islander also dated
They’ve been secretly seeing each other for a month
Maya Jama, who is set to host Love Island All Stars later this month, is dating Premier League footballer Rúben Dias.
They were spotted having a romantic dinner together in Ibiza on New Year’s Eve, and it’s not the first Love Island-linked girl he’s dated.
“Maya and Ruben swapped details at the EMAs and have chatted since, but things went up a gear in early December,” a source told The Sun.
“When Ruben got injured and had to miss the congested New Year fixtures, he jumped at the chance to see in 2025 with Maya in Spain.”
“Spending New Year’s Eve together was a real step forward in their relationship.”
The insider added that Maya and Ruben “get on really well” and “make a gorgeous couple” but it’s still “early days”.
This is the second time the Portuguese footballer, who plays for Manchester City, has dated someone linked to Love Island.
Last year, he had a fling with 33-year-old Arabella Chi, who was on the show in 2019.
They were spotted boarding a flight to Portugal and had a romantic weekend in Paris together, but things quickly fizzled out.
Just weeks later, Arabella then went into the Love Island villa for a stint on All Stars, but she failed to find love in South Africa.
A lot has changed in the past year though because she’s now expecting her first baby with her businessman boyfriend Billy Henty.
The pair seem to be really loved up and she gushed about him in a recent Instagram post.
“I have no words for this year it’s been full of ups and downs … I started this year by entering the Love Island villa with a lot of ups and downs in the middle,” Arabella said.
