What The Ultimatum season three cast’s real jobs are, according to their very braggy LinkedIns
Why do they all work in social media marketing?
The Ultimatum on Netflix has officially taken over all of our lives. But who really are these people who we’ve devoted hours of our time to? We went on an overly thorough deep-dive into what all The Ultimatum cast’s real jobs are, when they’re not causing chaos on Netflix. This was achieved through extensive analysis of their LinkedIns. I swear they’re all secretly corporate LinkedIn hacks and I did not expect this.
So, here are the real jobs of The Ultimatum’s cast, based on their overly sincere LinkedIns. Kudos and congratulations for embarking on the next steps of the journey of reading this article, everyone!
Zaina Sesay
Zaina is such a secret LinkedIn hack. Seriously, she has over 1,400 followers. Her profile describes her as a “fitness and lifestyle content creator”. I’m guessing she quit her last job to go on The Ultimatum and make fitness videos for Instagram full-time? Before that, Zaina had a successful career in TV. She’s worked at some pretty impressive places, including MTV and FreemantleMedia. While she was a student at Temple University, she had a side hustle as a model and did work experience at the Oprah Winfrey Network, which is such an unbelievable flex.
Nick Tramontin
Most Read
Nick doesn’t seem to be much better at LinkedIn than he is at relationships. His LinkedIn proudly proclaims that he’s the founder and CEO of ARTDRIVEN LLC. But as far as I can tell, this company is just him painting? He’s been using the ARTDRIVEN LL business name since he was 18.
On Nick’s Instagram, he says he’s the founder of Not Made By Virgins – a new line of olive oil. Although, he hasn’t updated his LinkedIn with his new side quest yet.
Mariah Zernik
Mariah works in social media marketing. She used to have a job as a social commerce associate at a company called Beautycounter, but she quit in April (I’m guessing so she could film The Ultimatum?). She’s now a freelance social media manager.
She studied business management and marketing at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. Mariah was a hardcore sorority girly and worked in Anthropologie, which feels fairly on-brand for her.
Mariah has the LinkedInese sorted – she’s the kind of girlie who comments “congratulations!” on everyone else’s posts.
Caleb Storm
Fyi Caleb’s name is Caleb Storm on his Insta, but Caleb Lefterys on LinkedIn. So, Caleb’s LinkedIn reveals that he really has lived 1,000 lives. He studied art at South Seatle College and tried to make it as an audio engineer. I don’t think this career worked out for him, though, because in 2019 he was back to working as a waiter at a restaurant called Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi.
He then returned to do a course in business at South Seattle College, and fully embraced his inner corporate self. He founded an event staffing company called Friends of Mine, and landed a job as a mortgage broker. Caleb’s also won awards for how much charity work he’s done. He helped supply disadvantaged Los Angeles kids with school supplies and food over the Christmas season.
Aria De Westbrooks
Aria is a registered aesthetics practitioner. She has a degree in nursing from Northern Arizona Uni. She’s got loads of connections on LinkedIn, but it’s not really clear from the site exactly what aesthetics she’s been nursing people for. The most recent job on her profile is as a sales development representative for DoorDash.
Chanel Watkins
Chanel also works in social media marketing. This seems to be the job of choice for The Ultimatum cast this year. She was a freelancer for a couple of years, but now she works for the technology consultancy company MicroAge in Phoenix.
Vanessa Hattaway
Vanessa is a manager and an account executive in the new markets department at a software development company called ServiceTitan. I don’t understand what that means, either. Basically, she has a high-flying corporate job in sales.
She has a whopping 16,000 followers on LinkedIn, which is deeply impressive.
Dave Adams
Dave used to be a proper finance bro. He was a finance analyst in Wall Street, and then for TJ Maxx? I so did not expect this from him. In 2017, he decided to become a copywriter instead. He’s done work for Facebook and Apple.
