Here are the best ways to entertain yourself every night of the week in Lincoln
Going out isn’t just for the weekend, you can have an entire week of fun
Even though Lincoln is small, it’s full of great things to do every single night of the week. From club nights to pub quizzes, or even a relaxed dinner at the top of the hill. There are lots of things to fill your time with in Lincoln. So here are the best seven things to do with your evenings so you’re not bored.
Monday: Karaoke at The Scene
Who doesn’t want to start their week singing Bad Romance to 30 strangers? The fun doesn’t end until 6am so be prepared to have a massive Monday night and a most of Tuesday asleep.
Tuesday: Tacos and tequila at The Swan
Tacos? Not bad for Tuesday night dinner. The Swan is our campus pub so go out and support it by eating copious amounts of Mexican food and also, students get discounts using the Student Orders app so it’s even better.
Wednesday: Quack!
A Lincoln classic which needs no introduction. It’s the one night a week you’re bound to see every society represented in one room, dressed head to toe in the most ridiculous costumes.
However, you don’t have to be part of a society to go and have fun. Just make sure you’re near the front so that you stand more of a chance of winning a duck. No one wants to go home empt handed.
Thursday: Quiz at Towers

Every Thursday, Towers, the Students’ Union sports bar, hosts a pub quiz with prizes up for grabs. A fun midweek activity for some bonding time with your flatmates. You can get plenty of food and drinks to keep you going and might even win some free drinks too.
Friday: Superbull
Another Lincoln classic club night. It’s loud, vibrant and spans three floors which all have a different music styles from karaoke to drum and bass. There’s something there for everyone. Whilst your drinking steins or finding your way up to the different floors lookout for The Bull to catch a photo with.
Saturday: Live Events at Stack
Newly opened Stack in the St Marks Shopping Centre hosts live events on Saturday nights. You can enjoy a show with a bite to eat from their vast food court from pizza to mac n cheese, Stack has something for everyone. We highly recommend The Cheesy Pig’s pomme frites.
Sunday: Relaxed Pint on Steep Hill
After a busy week you’ll probably need some down time. Steep Hill and the Bailgate area is home to plenty of cosy traditional pubs where you can have a drink and chat with your friends. It’s the perfect reset before you start it all again on Monday.
