Right, are Love Island finalists Ciaran and Nicole actually still together?

Right now, the internet is full of rumours Love Island 2024 finalists Ciaran and Nicole are no longer together, and have secretly split up. That would mean only Uma and Wil from the most recent series are still together.

Ciaran and Nicole met during Love Island 2024, and were a couple for the entire series. They left the villa together, and have been an item ever since. They’ve said in interviews they’ve moved in together, and have on the whole been pretty quiet since the show.

However, in the last week talk turned. People suddenly started claiming the pair had broken up. “Love Island couple Nicole and Ciaran have apparently SPLIT UP with Nicole deleting her Instagram highlights of Ciaran,” one tweet claimed. “Uma and Wil are now the ONLY couple to last from season 11.”

The rumours are spreading like wild fire, and nobody really knows what’s going on. But don’t worry, we have all the answers.

Breaking down rumours Love Island 2024’s Ciaran and Nicole have split up

Before we get into what’s actually going on, let’s look at the rumours. The rumours of Ciaran and Nicole no longer being an item started when people spotted Nicole no longer has an Instagram highlight dedicated to Ciaran. Sorry to say I don’t track her movements enough to have noticed she ever had one in the first place, but she definitely doesn’t have one any more.

That being said, Ciaran does still have an Instagram highlight for Nicole – so it wouldn’t be too wild to assume this was something she *previously* had too. The couple don’t look to have deleted any pictures together, mind you.

Then, this is where the rumours get a little thicker. People on Twitter are speculating Ciaran and Nicole are not yet announcing their break up, as they currently have a shared brand deal. Right now they are posting about a brand deal together, which includes a joint discount code, containing both of their names. That would be pretty awkward if they weren’t together.

Of course, there’s no actual proof this has happened. Plus, people have been quick to point out it does look as though they’re still an item. “Deleting highlights doesn’t mean anything lol they still have their posts together on their pages,” one person said. Another added: “Okay guys but they just posted a joint picture three days ago…. Y’all need to relax.”

Nicole and Ciaran’s reps have confirmed they ARE still together, so we can all rest easy. They told The Tab: “Nicole and Ciaran are still together. They are very much a couple.”
