18-year-old university student reported missing in Oxford
Fintan was last seen on Wednesday 27th November
The police are urging people to help them find an 18-year-old university student who has been missing in Oxford since Wednesday.
Fintan is a student at the University of Reading. His surname has not been publicly disclosed.
He was last seen at about 3:31am on Wednesday 27th November walking down Whitehouse Road in Oxford. Fintan was wearing a blue jacket, trainers and long white socks.
Whitehouse Road is just south of the city centre. It’s near Christ Church Meadow and the River Thames.
According to a post being circulated online, people became worried when Fintan didn’t return to his uni halls.

The Thames Valley Police is “increasingly concerned” and is asking the public if they’ve seen the missing university student in the Oxford area.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Matthew Gorman said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Fintan’s welfare, and would ask anyone with information on where he may be to get in touch.
“If you see him, please call 999.
“Alternatively, if you have any other information then either call us on 101 or leave your information via our website, quoting reference 43240573373.”
