Tyler from Love Is Blind slammed by podcast host for wanting ‘nothing to do’ with kids
He really got put in his place
There has always been speculation and uncertainty around Tyler and his private relationship with his kids after Love Is Blind season seven aired. Various claims from the children’s mother have been made, and Ashley and Tyler have shared their own side of things. However, Tyler recently went on The Dear Future Wifey podcast to discuss his time on the show and he was majorly called out by the podcast host, Laterras Whitfield. I literally had to rewind multiple times because I was so shocked by Tyler being owned: Here’s what went down on the podcast.
When Laterras asked Tyler what kind of relationship he wanted with his kids and their mother, he said “I want them to have their family and leave me alone.”
“At this point, even if I put it in the back of my mind that I could have a relationship with them, I wouldn’t want to be attached to that family,” Tyler said in a scathing statement on the podcast.
He went to continue, saying “not the kids, per se, because again, innocent kids, beautiful kids, but–”
Laterras interrupted him: “Nope, they’re attached to that family. The kids are attached to that family.”
Tyler tried to defend his statement by saying “I’m just saying, they come with…” before being shut down by Laterras again.
“It doesn’t matter what else. I would never prioritise the feelings that I have for a bad relationship over my kids,” he warned.

“That’s just how I operate. I stand on that. I don’t care if the mother of my child lied to me, accused me of abuse, broke the windows of my car,” he went on. “I’d be like, that woman is crazy, but I’m going to love you child and I’m going to show you how to honour and respect your mother, because that’s your mother. We aren’t going to have a relationship, but you’re going to watch me honour and respect her.”
Tyler asked Laterras “you wouldn’t be concerned of them running your name when you’re not around?”
Laterras simply told Tyler “let your character outlive their lie,” and it rendered him speechless.
