Four people have been arrested following the death of a man in York

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died and two other people were injured in a house in York.
Officers were called to Vyner Street in the Haxby Road area at 19:20pm on Saturday.
Another woman and man, both from the York area, have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, BBC reports.
A man in his 20s and a man in his 30s, both from York, were arrested, with a woman in her 30s and a man in his 60s also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
One of the men found at the property, who was in his 20s and from the Bradford area, later died in hospital.
Another man was taken to hospital, where police said he was in a stable condition.
Detectives from North Yorkshire Police’s Major Incident Team launched an immediate investigation, resulting in the arrests.
All four have been taken into custody where they remain today as the investigation proceeds.
Detective Superintendent Fran Naughton said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation with teams working around the clock, resulting in four arrests within just over 24 hours of the incident taking place.
“We know how worrying incidents like this can be for people who live and work in the area and as part of our response we have extra patrols in the area to support the community.”
