Emma reveals rejection from huge Netflix dating show led to her being scouted for MAFS UK

Whilst some MAFS UK cast members have to apply like a normal person, others are specifically scouted for the show by the casting team and honestly whether you accepted or not that’d be such a flex.

Well, it turns out that not only was Emma scouted for MAFS UK but it was because she originally applied to appear on another huge dating show but was sadly rejected.

During a Cosmopolitan interview, Emma and Kristina sat down to chat about whether they were scouted or applied, with Kristina admitting she applied but never thought she’d actually get on the show.

However, it was a slightly different story for Emma as before she’d even considered a MAFS UK appearance she’d actually applied to appear on the first season of Love Is Blind UK! Why do I feel like we’ve been robbed a little bit?

I feel like she and Freddie would have hit it off honestly but I do feel like we got to see more of Emma on MAFS than we would have done on Love Is Blind UK.

She explained the whole story to Kristina, revealing: “I got scouted. I actually applied for Love Is Blind UK, the first series of Love Is Blind and Netflix rejected me but then I got a voice note in September being like ‘fancy MAFS?'”

Luckily for us, Emma jumped at the opportunity, but the fact she even applied for Love Is Blind UK shows she really was keen to find love, and I almost feel offended on her behalf they rejected her. I wonder what would have happened if she’d been accepted, maybe she’d have met the man of her dreams!
