Ramses from Love Is Blind said Marissa ‘switched up’ after vowing to defend him at reunion
These two couldn’t be less compatible tbh
Ramses from Love Is Blind season seven has spoken out about his relationship with Marissa after the reunion put them on the rocks again. The couple had a very jarring breakup just before they were due to get married on the show, and it doesn’t sound like it ever got better. Marissa has done a lot of interviews and issued statements on social media explaining what happened from her point of view, including sharing a time when she tried to get Ramses back but it was a “hard no” from him. Ramses finally made his first statement on The Viall Files podcast yesterday after weeks of near silence while the show aired, and he had a lot to clear up about Marissa going off on him at the reunion.
Ramses explained that he didn’t think Marissa was a “terrible person,” but at the reunion, we started to see a “broader picture of who Marissa is.” He said they’d had “conversations leading up the reunion” where she promised that she was “going to defend” him against the uncomfortable questions he’d inevitably be asked. They clarified that they were “going to take care of each other.”
However, that all changed at the reunion, and Ramses noted how things “kind of just split.”
“At the end of the day, I’m not concerned about getting involved in all the social media craziness and all that, I’m a very low-key dude, I’m not concerned in all the drama surrounding this,” Ramses said.

But, he did say that he “definitely” thought Marissa “switched up” from what they’d previously said before the reunion. He noted that she “led me to believe she was on my side,” but instead went off on him. United front no more I guess!!
He was then asked if they had any relationship now, even just a friendship, but Ramses said no. As painful as it was to watch, the Love Is Blind season seven reunion proved Marissa and Ramses breaking up was definitely for the best. Onwards and upwards!
