Erm, a University of Leeds student has won Taco Bell-themed accom, and I’m low key jealous
Her rent is now only £1.99
Leeds’ biggest Taco Bell fan has won covered rent in the restaurant’s themed accommodation for just the price of a Cravings Burrito.
Arabelle Holme, a University of Leeds student, now lives in the themed flat after she took part in a competition for a Taco Bell-themed makeover which received hundreds of entries.
The Mexican-inspired fast-food chain has transformed her shared flat into a Taco Bell-themed kitchen with menu boards covering the cupboards as well as installed ordering screens and reusable cutlery and trays.
The media and communications student explained her complete dedication in her winning application, revealing that she camped outside the Cardigan Field Taco Bell to be the first to try their seasonal fries with sour cream dip.
Jessica Kleinert, Head of Marketing at Taco Bell UK explains why this competition was important.
She said: “It might be Halloween but we’re about treats, not tricks.
Students are the backbone of our late-night cravings, but rising costs are making it hard for them to enjoy student life fully.
We wanted to create a fun and completely unique experience for our superfan, whilst bringing the Taco Bell experience to students daily.”
Now Arabelle and her flatmates can experience Taco Bell without having to even leave her student accommodation. Taco Bell also offers a nationwide value menu from single burritos for £1.99 to Taco Bell meal deals (a burrito, fries and a drink) for £3.99 (or £3.49 for loyalty members).
You can also now claim their new student discount: A free Crispy Chicken Soft Taco with any meal or box.
